With over 20 years of experience in the field of human resources in international media, entertainment, e-commerce, professional services, and IT companies, I stand for competence and expertise. As a former chief people officer (CHRO), I have managed large teams of experts and supported companies in various phases - from dynamic growth to challenging M&A, transformation and restructuring projects.

In 2014, I founded the boutique consultancy carolyn schlak hr consulting. My focus is exclusively on HR consulting and executive search. I support both dynamically growing start-ups and medium-sized and listed companies in the search for executives and the realisation of challenging HR projects.


I have an extensive network of candidates and partners, particularly in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. In addition to my degree in Professional Human Resources Management (CCI), I am a certified business coach, mediator, e-coach, and trainer. My business languages are German and English.

Due to many years of experience in top management, I have been commissioned by many consultancies and have been a candidate in demanding search mandates.
